Really Bad Tummy Ache

WHEREAS,
this is not the correct technique for
patchwork without a needle (in which case, it is expected the cut of the cloth), but only
a "trick"

need: •
a small polystyrene egg;
• a piece of cloth fantasy
(about 7x7 cm or at least enough al'ovetto for ¾ of its height);
• felted wool yarn or string of large (approximately 3.5 mm thick);
• pins;
• just felt for the leaves
• 3 Cheerleader small cut from a wire braid
• 10 cm long ribbon to hang
• cutter and scissors


Procedure:

With knife make 4 incisions on the "sides" dell'ovetto, starting from under the hood arriving at the base of the other shell ( see the red marks shown in photo)

Place the base dell'ovetto (The one closer to the tip) at the center of the fabric and a pin to stop it.


Spread the good stuff towards the tip dell'ovetto and stop the two poles together with a pin.


keeping it stretched up, create the folds at the sides of the cuts (see photo), help stopping the cloth with a pin.

Helping with the back of the blade of the knife (or with a lime) do penetrate the folds of fabric in the cut created on the polystyrene, tighten the fabric.

At this point, we the cord and we fix one end in the middle of the wide base with a pin.
Arrotoliamolo very well around the first point, to cover 1 / 3 dell'ovetto thus covering the cutting of the fabric. Helping with the pins in the first part, where the string tends to slip ...

Cut the cord to 0.5 cm beyond the end of the crack. In this way, the excess, you can insert it in the cut with the fabric and thus stop the "hat of the acorn"
(in this picture, the turns of cord are a couple more, but the fabric was a bit 'short the sides ....
in "Variante2" instead the proportion of acorn and hat is perfect!).


Place the trimmings with a pom-pom on the top and stops with the needle.
from a piece of felt, cut out three leaves of different sizes (1 large, 1 medium, 1 small), place the first two over the Cheerleader (if necessary, use a pin), stuck a pin in the leaves and small, below, the two ends of the ribbon (a leader from the right and one left).
