Online Retailers materials for jewelry and craft

One of the problems in approaching to the hobby of creating handmade jewelry is that often there are no shops close to home provided or materials are hard to find or too expensive.

Image taken from Fantasycraft

These problems can overcome the various online sites that sell parts and accessories for the jewelry.

Among the advantages of on-line comes with a choice between huge amount of different materials, colors, shapes and accessories, but there are also several disadvantages, such as the inability to see a live product or shipping sometimes expensive.

I will try to tell you what I know, mine are opinions and personal experiences, I do not want to advertise on sites and I can not even suggest what the best or the cheapest, it's up to you to decide according to your needs but I hope that a small description to help you approach this type of sale.

sites that I know and whom you can talk about are the following, but if by chance you know any sites you want to talk about your experience or leave a comment below this post because I would like to become a meeting point and exchange of views useful for those who want to buy online without problems.

Hobbyperline

Site: http://www.hobbyperline.it/

Description: It 's an Italian site created recently, is well stocked and good for beginners or those looking for a particular quality of the materials , has a good variety of precious stones and crystals, accessories and components of various kinds and their strength is the creative center stands here in collaboration with Sara ( sarubbest ) than in the channel youtube video shows a way of hobbyperline clear and useful products for sale on the site, techniques for creating jewelry and also ways to use the tools always sold on the site. I bought from this site and is for delivery and for the materials I was fine, great service and very available for questions and problems. Recently they have also created a kit for beginners, useful for those who just do not know what to choose but look for the right accessories to start this hobby!

Pearls and co.

Site: http://www.perlesandco.com/

Description: resale French, but translated into several languages \u200b\u200bincluding Italian. The supply is practically infinite of pearls, crystals, Miyuki and Toho beads brand, charms, felt, polymer clay, tools, accessories, books, etc.. and you can subscribe to the newsletter to receive news on new arrivals. The price varies depending on the amount material purchased, for example, the price is less than the multi-faceted if they win more than 10 per type.

Beads and co.

Site: http://www.beadsandco.it/store/

Description: Italian well stocked, especially interesting for their kit ready to create jewelry. He also has a blog where you can see some videos that explain the creation of some jewelry and there is also the ability to search their authorized dealers.

Crafts

Site: http://www.artigianando.net/index.php

Description: e-shop version of a real store Lodi led by Luke, you can also know through his blog . Site provided with materials of any kind, unfortunately, some products can not be run out of stock for sale for a period but this is due to the fact that a dealer is not direct but a shop, the amount of material available is always reported near the basket or however you will be notified when the absence of the product with a choice of a similar product or climb up the order total. I bought from this site I found good service, quality and kindness in recommending the type of shipping is best suited to your orders!

Fantasy craft

Site: http://www.fantasycraft.it/home.asp

Description: e-commerce site in the chain craft Fantasy. Having already discussed in the review in the journal Bijoux passion that I refer to the related post. I will simply the fact that having three physical locations in Milan, Genoa and Turin is possible for those who live near these cities closer look at the materials and maybe think about buying online at a later time.

is also possible to find components and materials on site selling handmade Etsy as , Dawanda Miss Hobby or Italian, in this case you have to go in the "Supplies" or "Materials" and search for what you need. This method is long and often uncomfortable because they are materials that are sold abroad or small quantities, but is the best method if you try hard to find items and components or parts.

I hope this long post is helpful to resolve the doubts or fears that are often bought on line, a council of all always use the secure payment methods, choose the sites that offer these payment methods and that any problem there may be a direct line to the dealer to resolve any doubts or discomfort.

waiting for your comments and your opinions I named the website or on other sites, and I wish you a good 2011 full of creativity! Hello!

Best Refractor For $500

A simple to design simple!

Merry Christmas to all!

Today I want to have a really easy to design.

Needed:
  • Scraps of felt: white, pink and yellow

  • 25 cm of satin ribbon

  • a lower tongue of wood

  • cotton thread black

  • glue and scissors

Procedure:

pannolenci Cut from the various forms, all doubles.
Two circles for the face of the cook, two rectangles and two balloons to the hat, two yellow circles for the egg yolk and white pannolenci obtained two forms at will for the album.

Glue the satin ribbon on the wand of wood and glued together the two balloons

Before gluing the face embroidered eyes with black embroidery thread. Glue the circles of the face and stuck one in front and one behind the rectangles of the hat. Then glue the cloud.

If you want you can finish the hat with a puff stitch passed all around the perimeter of the cap.

Glue the face on top of the wand and the bottom of the ribbon paste the egg.

You can use this bookmark to decorate a gift package in this way.

Still lots of wishes for a Merry Christmas!

Really Bad Tummy Ache

WHEREAS,
this is not the correct technique for
patchwork without a needle (in which case, it is expected the cut of the cloth), but only
a "trick"
to create a small decoration in speed and ease for all ...
cover

need: •
a small polystyrene egg;
• a piece of cloth fantasy
(about 7x7 cm or at least enough al'ovetto for ¾ of its height);
• felted wool yarn or string of large (approximately 3.5 mm thick);
• pins;
• just felt for the leaves
• 3 Cheerleader small cut from a wire braid
• 10 cm long ribbon to hang
• cutter and scissors

Procedure:

With knife make 4 incisions on the "sides" dell'ovetto, starting from under the hood arriving at the base of the other shell ( see the red marks shown in photo)

Place the base dell'ovetto (The one closer to the tip) at the center of the fabric and a pin to stop it.

Spread the good stuff towards the tip dell'ovetto and stop the two poles together with a pin.

keeping it stretched up, create the folds at the sides of the cuts (see photo), help stopping the cloth with a pin.

Helping with the back of the blade of the knife (or with a lime) do penetrate the folds of fabric in the cut created on the polystyrene, tighten the fabric.

At this point, we the cord and we fix one end in the middle of the wide base with a pin.
Arrotoliamolo very well around the first point, to cover 1 / 3 dell'ovetto thus covering the cutting of the fabric. Helping with the pins in the first part, where the string tends to slip ...

Cut the cord to 0.5 cm beyond the end of the crack. In this way, the excess, you can insert it in the cut with the fabric and thus stop the "hat of the acorn"
(in this picture, the turns of cord are a couple more, but the fabric was a bit 'short the sides ....
in "Variante2" instead the proportion of acorn and hat is perfect!).

Place the trimmings with a pom-pom on the top and stops with the needle.
from a piece of felt, cut out three leaves of different sizes (1 large, 1 medium, 1 small), place the first two over the Cheerleader (if necessary, use a pin), stuck a pin in the leaves and small, below, the two ends of the ribbon (a leader from the right and one left).
stapled in the center ....

And that's it, the acorn season is ready!

And this is the second version: A couple of laps
less than the string (thus 1 / 3 the height of the ball),
same stuff, different leaves ....

Here, I cut three pieces about 4 cm (each) of a green polka-dot satin ribbon.
Cut one end of each ribbon, dovetail ...

curled the other side and stopped with the pins on the top of the acorn.
Place the ribbon to hang (as before), focused on the ball with a pin inserted from the other two heads and colored pins with colored heads round to beautify and "create" the berries!

Tutorial stamp adigraf by Sabri

Hello everyone! My name is Sabrina and appassionatissima of all that is art manual ... for me it is therapeutic! I work mainly with pearls and beads for jewelry and card packaging, cards and photographs for "scrapbooking" my memories (scrapbooking). When Laura asked me to participate as Guest Star this portal, I was happy! Here's what I want to show a technique to manufacture the stamps in the house with a material called adigraf.

adigraf The rubber mat is a 3 mm high., Very soft green color that is recorded with the called gouges, chisels (usually there's only one handle with replaceable bits of different sizes).
1

Adigraf and gouges can be found in some well-stocked paint stores that sell products or for the Fine Arts
Where to sell these can also buy the roller for inking the adigraf once recorded .. . I do not use it since my ink stamps adigraf ink as the other, colliding with the ink pads. In case you want to use acrylic paint him lie down on the stamp with the brush, taking care to leave only a thin layer to prevent E. coli and create spots on stamped.
So what we need to make the stamp?
Sheet adigraf
Gouges Engraving Cutter

soft pencil (I use a B5) if you want to "trace" the drawing, a pen but if you draw freehand directly to the stamp.
Caution: remember that since this is a stamp image will be reversed, so the numbers should be made in writing or otherwise (I did an entire alphabet all upside down ... SIGH!)
I chose a subject that can be used on greeting card or Christmas pages!
2

must draw the subject on the plate adigraf. At first you do not choose designs with details too small because we need a little 'training' before they can reproduce! If you wish to "trace" a need to revise the original design with a soft pencil, turn the paper sull'Adigraf and go all the space behind so that the design is transferred. But if you draw directly on the plate you can use a normal pen (note that you can then easily remove). The design and engraving will be done on the smoother the plate (no possibility of confusion, a party is very smooth and has a whole thumb).
I drew first on a sheet in order to delete, edit ... and then moved through the technique of pencil I mentioned above.

3

With regular scissors, cut roughly around the plate design, so we can work better.

4

Now you can start engraving, bearing in mind that you are going to affect white space (in practice, it creates the negative, you remove the spaces not drawn). It must affect the edges with a chisel more closed (Measure 1). 5

With gouges will be more open to affect the innermost parts of the drawing, those in which white space is greater. I never use a chisel bigger if I work on the stamps, but I always use a few times the size 2 and 3. Do not carve too deep or the base is cut and then it becomes less compact stamp.
When you are "emptied" the stamp cut the outline with a sharp knife, leaving a few mm. adigraf to be able to pick up cleanly.
6

Once you can do a test print and go off again rubber if you find that you left some "hump" too. Of course, the handmade stamp will not be perfect (especially the first) and will have those "flaws" but make it original and unique!

To facilitate the paste can be stamped on a rigid support is easy to grip. 7

again I thank the staff for having me here! I hope it was useful to someone! HELLO HELLO

How Long Does It Take To Get Over A Sore Throat

time gifts!

Hello to all!

Christmas is getting closer and I like the last post I thought to inspire your imagination! This time I propose a tutorial for a packet easy cheap!

What you need is: wrapping paper, wool color preferred, a strip of felt (perhaps made by your last attack of creativity!) and of course scissors, glue and tape!
aaa

wrapped your gift, in my case, I wrapped the pips.
aaa

Begin to wrap the wool yarn around the package in an irregular manner, ensuring that the remaining part of the wire is still long enough.
aaa

After braided the wire around to make at least two flakes packet.
aaa

Cut the ribbons at the ends, resulting in an effect similar to what you see in the picture.

Roll up your strip of felt (at least 1 cm long and at least 10cm) to form a swivel. Close it by gluing the end of the strip to the swivel.
aaa
Paste the swivel in the middle of the bow and ... done!
aaa

As a final touch, you can cut a strip of chart about half the height of your package, place it under the wire and lock it back with a bit of tape or wire with the same, maybe better if you comes to mind before you wrap the thread ... but what about my brain sometimes loses the shots!

This way you can get a little pocket for the note and if you have a good stamp to do go ahead, make it even more fun!
aaa

And here's a nice little package for you to put under the tree!

Until next time,

Chiara
